Plum Cottage has a bedroom and balcony bedroom upstairs and an open plan kitchen, sitting and dining area including a bed settee downstairs.

It is one of six high quality cottages carefully refurbished from the old farm buildings at East Lochhead. A door through to Rowan Cottage next door allows the two cottages to be let as one large family cottage.

East Lochhead is an ideal centre from which to explore Burns country, visit the RSPB Lochwinnoch nature reserve, cycle part of the Glasgow to Irvine to Carlisle cycle track, enjoy sailing in the Clyde estuary, as well as many other local attractions and activities.
